French Press Brew Guide
Ratio: 1g Coffee / 14mls water (strong)
or : 1g Coffee/ 17mls water (med) -
Brew Time: 4mins
Grind Size: Coarse Grind - similar to raw sugar.
300ml Cup of French Press coffee Method
Step 1: Weigh 21g of freshly roasted coffee and place in French Press.
Step 2: Boil water in kettle. Allow Kettle to rest after boiling for approx 30 secs or until temperature of water is 93 degrees Celsius.
Step 3: Pour 300ml of boiled water in a circular motion into French Press Press. Ensure all coffee grinds are saturated with water.
Step 4: Allow to brew for 3mins. Stir after 1 min.
Step 5: After 3 mins Plunge coffee and pour into cup ready to enjoy!
Notes: Depending on the coffee, sometimes the medium ratio tastes better than the strong ratio and vice versa. Try both and choose your favourite.
